ZReceipt ("we", "our", or "us") is a product of SigmaTech GH. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the ZReceipt web application and our website at zreceipt.sigmatechgh.com. By using ZReceipt, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

ZReceipt is a web-based platform that stores data both on your device and in your account. We collect the following information:

• Account information you provide when registering, including your name, email address, and password. This is required to create and access your ZReceipt account.
• Business profile information you enter, including your company name, logo, address, phone, email, and settings. This is stored in your account and locally on your device for offline use.
• Receipt and invoice data you create, including customer names, contact details, products, amounts, and payment records. This data is stored in your account and synced across your devices.
• Subscription and billing information when you purchase a Business plan. Payment processing is handled entirely by Paystack. We receive confirmation of successful payment and your subscription status but do not store your card or banking details.
• Usage information such as login times and feature usage to help us improve the product. No personally identifiable content from your receipts or documents is included.
• Technical information such as browser type, device type, and IP address, collected automatically when you access ZReceipt.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate your ZReceipt account and sync your data across devices.
• To verify and activate your Business subscription.
• To send important account notifications such as subscription renewal reminders.
• To respond to support requests you send to us.
• To improve the stability and performance of the platform.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering and supporting the ZReceipt service.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your business data is stored in your ZReceipt account and synced securely across your devices. Data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS. ZReceipt also stores a local copy of your data on your device to support offline use.

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and to keep your account credentials private.

4. Payment Processing

Business plan subscriptions are processed by Paystack. When you subscribe, you are subject to Paystack's own Privacy Policy and Terms in addition to ours. We do not store your payment card details, mobile money credentials, or bank account information. We only receive confirmation of successful payment and the associated subscription period.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Payment processors: Paystack receives the information necessary to process your subscription payment.
• Service providers: We may use third-party services for hosting, analytics, and customer support, all of which are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Business transfer: If SigmaTech GH is acquired or merges with another entity, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to the same privacy protections.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Export your data at any time using the in-app Backup feature.
• Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
• Request correction of inaccurate information we hold about you.
• If you are in the EEA or UK, you may have additional rights under GDPR including the right to restrict or object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Children's Privacy

ZReceipt is designed for use by businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving billing disputes.

9. Third-Party Links

ZReceipt may allow you to share documents through third-party applications such as WhatsApp, Gmail, or SMS. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those applications. Please review their respective privacy policies before sharing.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify you through the platform. Your continued use of ZReceipt after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
